WELCOME TO

Ulu Lounge

Ulu Lounge is a nostalgic nod to the bohemian aesthetic where colours, patterns and layers are celebrated. Inspired by traditional techniques from around the world, we create garments that are artisinal and crafted with care.

We are founders and sisters, Heidi Cummins and Daisy Bell,  based in Sydney Australia.

OUR

Ethos

At Ulu Lounge, we believe in the unique charm of pieces that tell stories. Each garment is crafted with meticulous attention to detail, rooted in the marriage of vintage aesthetics and modern silhouettes whilst meeting the needs of the contemporary woman.

When we look at the world around us, we see the fleeting nature of consumerism impact all aspects of our lives including our wardrobes. Instead of feeling the pressure to keep up with rapidly changing trends, our pieces are designed for longevity and timelessness.

OUR

Story

Our story is at the heart of Ulu lounge. Whilst standing on a clifftop in Uluwatu gazing at the Indian Ocean, Ulu Lounge was born. Our creative journey has been deeply influenced by the cherished memories of our childhood, where we were surrounded by a kaleidoscope of colours, patterns and textures.

Raised in a home where every corner resonated with a love for vintage finds and eclectic pieces gathered and curated from around the world, we developed an early appreciation for the artistry embedded in diverse cultures.

SUSTAINABILITY AND ETHICAL PRODUCTION

Ulu Lounge is committed to sustainability. By repurposing vintage fabrics, we contribute to the reduction of fashion waste and strive to create a positive impact on the environment. We work with teams based in Bali and Portugal who are certified ethical garment manufacturers. Any new fabrics we use are natural fibers or sustainably sourced eco fabrics. Our commitment extends to fair labour practices, ensuring that every hand that touches our creations is treated with respect, dignity, and fairness.
